Pack Down (Mobile App)
The Pack Down function is used to transfer waste from a source container into a target container. In general this function would be used if you want to transfer only some of the waste from the source container. It does allow you transfer all the waste but the Combine Containers (Bulk-Up) function is more suited for that.
You are required to specify the Source Container you wish to transfer waste from.
You are required to specify the Target Container you wish to transfer waste into.
The Source tab shows you the current contents of the Source Container.
The Target tab shows you the current contents of the Target Container.
The Weight tab is where you specify the weight/volume of the waste to be transferred.
Subject to configuration, you can specify an exact weight/volume to transfer or a percentage estimate of the current weight/volume in the source container.
Illustrated below is a source and target container where both currently contain 50lb. An exact weight/volume of 20lb is specified. If you click on Done to proceed with the operation the source will contain 30lb and the target will contain 70lb.
Note - Another method of specifying the weight/volume is to retrieve the value from a Bluetooth weighing scales. Currently this feature is not supported on iOS. It is supported on Android and Windows only.
