Container Types are used to manage the different container types and sizes within the system. They act as a template for containers that are created within the system and determine the settings associated with new containers.

Container Type *: A description of the container type. This is what will appear on grids, lists, etc.
Tare *: Tare weight. The weight of the container when empty
Tare UOM *: Tare weight UOM
Manifest Container Type: US Manifest Container Type equivalent
Default Status: The default status for new containers created.
Max. Weight: The maximum allowed weight for this container type. This will be enforced when adding waste to containers, adjusting weight, bulking up, etc. This is also used when operators are setting the weight of containers based on percentage full, e.g. if Max. Weight is set to 100 Pounds, and the operator says its 50% full, then the weight will be set to 50 Pounds.
Max. Weight UOM: The UOM the maximum weight is set in.
Max. Tracked Items: Every time you add new waste to a container it creates a new tracked item. This value determines the maximum amount of tracked items allowed in the container type.
Drum Equivalent: In terms of footprint, what is the drum equivalent of this container type, e.g. a Tote /IBC would have a drum equivalent of 4. This is used to help determine Zone and Site capacity in the system.
Max Cleans: For permanent (reusable) containers, this is the maximum amount of times the container should be washed/cleaned before it is end of life. This value is not enforced in the system but rather used to monitor containers on dashboards, reports and email alerts.
Permanent Container: Permanent containers are containers that are re-used following treatment. They would have a permanent ID / Barcode. Non-permanent containers get removed from inventory following treatment, and the associated data gets archived to history. The ID associated with non-permanent containers cannot be re-used.
Is Cleaning Needed: If this is a permanent container, then does it require cleaning following treatment? If yes, then waste cannot be added to the empty container until it has been recorded as clean.
Clear Last Waste on Clean: The system keeps track of the last waste that was in a container. This is a useful setting if the same waste is getting put into the container as the operator can simply tap Use Last Waste when adding waste. If the waste changes, then it is recommended that this flag is checked to force the operator to select the waste profile.
